A message from the Chair,

Our 67th annual Games is rapidly approaching and its shaping up to be another great one.

Last year we saw a dramatic drop in attendance due to the catastrophic floods in southern Alberta.

Many competitors were simply unable to leave their homes and many municipalities had emergency services on high alert.

Those that were able to attend were blessed with a beautiful day albeit a much quieter one.

We intend to make up for it this year so come, enjoy, and revel in the spectacle of one of the busiest and longest running games in Alberta.

Host Hotel: an important note to our out-of-town participants.

Hampton Inn and Suites has reserved 80 rooms at the special base rate of $109.00 for Red Deer Highland Games competitors, vendors, and guests.

Hampton Inn and Suites is the closest hotel to our event and has agreed to push the check-out time to 1PM to allow morning competitors to check out after competing. The hotel provides a continental breakfast with the room.
