A message from the Chair,

Our 65th annual Games is rapidly approaching and its shaping up to be a great one. Many of you attended last year at our new home at the Titans Rugby park. Our friends the Titans are having their 40th anniversary gala one week before our Games which should warm up the grounds for us nicely.

Many of our friends are aware of the raffle we have been actively marketing since mid February. This raffle was implemented as a fund raiser to help finance the games and we will be drawing the winning tickets at the closing ceremonies on Games Day. If you haven’t got a ticket make sure you pick one up on games day.

We have changed our admission rates this year to more closely match our sister Highland Games events as follows:

Adult pass $15.00

Seniors/Students $10.00

Children 11 and over $8.00

Children under 11 Free

Family pass $35.00

Parking and the first program per family are free.

$5.00 for the second program. Finally an important note to our out-of-town participants.

Hampton Inn and Suites has reserved 80 rooms at the special base rate of $109.00 for Red Deer Highland Games competitors, vendors, and guests.

Hampton Inn and Suites is the closest hotel to our event and has agreed to push the check-out time to 1PM to allow morning competitors to check out after competing. The hotel provides a continental breakfast with the room.
